Gold price declines by Rs400 per tola in Pakistan

**KARACHI, PAKISTAN - ** In a welcome development for Pakistani consumers, the price of gold has declined by Rs400 per tola. This decrease is attributed to a fall in the international gold price.

The current price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan stands at Rs109,600 per tola. The decline in price is expected to boost demand for gold, particularly during the upcoming festive season.

Gold is a popular investment and a symbol of wealth in Pakistan. The country is one of the world's largest consumers of gold. A decrease in gold price is therefore a positive development for many Pakistanis.

The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJSA) has welcomed the decline in gold price. They believe that this will encourage more people to invest in gold and boost the economy.

APGJSA also expects that the decline in gold price will lead to a decrease in smuggling of gold into Pakistan. Smuggling of gold is a major issue in Pakistan, and it is estimated to cost the country billions of rupees in lost revenue each year.

The decline in gold price is a positive development for Pakistan. It is expected to boost consumer demand, encourage investment, and reduce smuggling.
